First 5 San Joaquin invests in programs to improve the health and well-being of young children.

Developmental Screening - 3,287 children received a development screening and 212 of those children received a referral
Help Me Grow – Help Me Grow San Joaquin is a system that assists parents, caregivers, physicians, and agencies to identify at risk children ages 0 to 5, and help them find community based programs and services.
576 children received a screening or an intervention for a special need from the Great Beginnings program
SJ Teeth - First 5 San Joaquin, San Joaquin County Public Health Services, dentists, non-profit organizations, and other partners have come together as the San Joaquin Treatment & Education for Everyone on Teeth & Health (SJ TEETH) collaborative to help families have healthy and happy smiles. 3,049 children received care coordination and/or dental services through the San Joaquin TEETH program.
